Penwith Society has the travel bug…

11th May

Message from Sue Davis, Chair of Penwith Society of Arts.

“After a successful foray to The Cello Factory in London the Spring Members Exhibition is travelling to Chapel Arts in Cheltenham Gallery 16th May – 9th June. Chapel Arts is an exciting new arts space that opened its doors in the thriving St James’ area of Cheltenham in spring 2017.
The former Baptist chapel has been modernised and restored to create an impressive, flexible venue that can host a variety of events and exhibitions.

Founded by Ian James, formerly of Martins Gallery in Montpellier Parade, Chapel Arts will continue to bring exciting, contemporary paintings in a range of media alongside interesting sculpture in wood, steel, glass and bronze. The Penwith Society are very pleased to have been invited to exhibit in this exciting space.

Penwith Society of Arts at Chapel Arts, Knapp Road, Cheltenham, Glos, GL50 3QQ.

16 May to 9 June 2018 – Opening times: Wednesday to Saturday 10am to 4pm

Private view 16 May 6.30 to 8pm.”
