The son of a painter, Stephen was a sculptor who lived in Cornwall since 1965, drawn here by the rugged coastline and the beautiful countryside.
He worked as a general practitioner until his retirement, and since then his lifelong passion for sculpting with ground coal and resin became his new career.
His work is inspired by historical art, in particular the Roman Period.
