Clive Blackmore was born in 1940. He went to Kingston School of Art, and was a Jazz musician and a potter before devoting himself to painting in the mid 1980s.
With his wife Ann Aslan, he has spent much of his life in France which has, in many respects, influenced his work.
His studio is on the coast at Rinsey.
