The South West Academy holds three keenly anticipated exhibitions each year: The Academicians Winter Exhibition at the Thelma Hulbert Gallery in Honiton during January; a Summer Exhibition with Delamore Arts in May and an Annual Open Exhibition at Exeter Castle during November. In addition, the Academy seeks to reach out across the region with a showcase of members’ work at prestigious and well-known galleries. In this our 20th year, we are delighted to be returning to the Penwith Gallery for a very special celebratory exhibition.
The Academy pursues excellence through a wide range of genres and this exhibition will feature the work of thirty academicians, each with a very individual style. It will include paintings, drawings, photographs, sculpture and ceramics by well-established and emerging West Country artists. All the collectable works will be for sale and we feel sure that everyone will find something to inspire and delight.
